Inspired by a recent spiral back into my BSG and Caprica obsession brought on by the Flesh in Doctor Who’s recent outings I’ve decided to drum up a list of my favourite Battlestar Galactica moments on TV… that didn’t happen on the Battlestar Galactica series itself. – S

1. Veronica Mars. As if there isn’t already enough to love about Kristen Bell’s hyper intelligent, super awesome teen sleuth. Well, the girl doesn’t frak around.
Plus an honourary mention to Almost Heroes, a new Canadian comedy that airs at 9pm & 11pm on Showcase. Paul Campbell (Billy Keikeya of BSG) co-stars. They threw in a “Frak Yeah” near the end of it’s premiere episode last week. Watch it!

Having only seen the BSG reference on 30 Rock, this makes me realize I should be watching some of these other shows just for Battlestar awesomeness! Sigh, I miss BSG.

In a Season 6 episode of Gilmore Girls (“Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out”), Rory refers to her grandmother as a cylon. If there were many copies of Emily Gilmore, it would totally suck.
